Le Projet Imagine is rolling out its “Imagine Schools” program in Vietnam, in partnership with Planète Enfants & Développement, the global nonprofit organization for children!
Our “Imagine Schools” program is proving wonderfully successful!
As you know, since the beginning of the school year in September, all over France and from kindergarten to high school, nearly 1,600 students have been participating in our Learning Coexistence program. Because this program’s values of solidarity and commitment carry a universal message, we are working on deploying the program internationally. The adventure has begun already in Vietnam thanks to the support of the nonprofit organization Planète Enfants & Développement that is helping us to test the “Imagine Schools” Program with teenagers.

Our partner, Planète Enfants & Développement, has set up a campaign thanks to the crowdfunding platform helloasso with the aim of raising the funds needed to implement the sessions (translating the material, purchasing supplies, organizing a ceremony …), with the ultimate goal of enabling vulnerable children to benefit from our program in the best possible conditions.

Once upon a time… there was a great partnership!
When Marjory Wachtel, Country Director and Project Manager at Planète Enfants & Développement in Vietnam, heard the story of our founder, Frédérique Bedos, and about the “Imagine Schools” program in the social networks, it was love at first sight! Interested in both our message and our Learning Coexistence program, she decided to test it on site in Ho Chi Minh City, where her organization is already working with several vocational training centers.
Our two entities then worked hand in hand, and starting in December 2019 our program was able to implement the first sessions in two schools, in Nhan Dao and Hung Vuong, with around thirty students. This initial phase will end in February. It covers themes both powerful and diverse: coexistence, migration, gender equality, climate change, etc.
Planète Enfants & Développement: growing up in a better world
Depuis Planète Enfants & Développement has been working with vulnerable children for over 35 years, with the single aim of giving children everywhere the same opportunities. The organization provides services to local populations, families, educators and public authorities in order to help them protect and stimulate children through health, education, integration and family support services. The nonprofit is present in France and in Vietnam, where it has been active since 1993, and also has operations in three other countries Cambodia, Nepal and Burkina Faso. Learn more
