Cooperate to Implement Change !

As you know, the strength of Le Projet Imagine lies in its capacity to :

  • identify the problems that hinder our progress as a cohesive society, and more importantly, as a united “human family”.
  • create innovative, ambitious yet practical programs, to address them.

Given the global and universal nature of our approach, our tools can be used anywhere in the world to support young people who face similar challenges.

While this requires resources, it mostly depends on encounters, collaborations and partnerships.

Our international implementation strategy is centered on knowledge transmission: we train teachers and educators to use of our tools, as well as staff from NGO and other associative and/or philanthropic organizations working with children.

We’re still in the early stages, and we’re truly amazed by the results!

No matter where a child is from, they share the same hopes, dreams and fears.
Wherever they may be, these children are confronted daily by the sounds of a world in flux, its very foundations shaken. And that can be unsettling.
Our mission is to accompany these children, to take their hands and let them know that they are not alone. More importantly, we must empower them to actively engage with the world around them. These are the challenges that adults cannot shy away from.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who have placed their trust in us and join us ont the Imagine journey. This tribute is for them.

For the second year, our Imagine School Program is being implemented in a Dhaka slum, in partnership with “We Act For Kids Fond’actions“.

Last year, more than a hundred students, aged 8 to 12, learned to work together as a team. They were then divided into groups to design and execute three sustainable development projects that addressed key issues in their community : sanitation, water conservation and forced marriage of girls.

Their awareness-raising actions reached far beyond the school and family environment, impacting the entire local population. Imagine the joy – and pride – these children felt when they saw the tangible results of their actions on their lives and their surroundings! And for us, it’s such a thrill to witness young individuals taking on so such meaningful projects! 🙌

Given the success and the children’s engagement, the teachers have decided to continue the program. Over a hundred children began the Imagine School Program last January and we look forward to presenting the projects of these new teams in December.

At the beginning of January 2025, a special training program for middle and high school teachers at the Lycée Français International André Malraux in Rabat was launched, focusing on key components of the Imagine School Program.

The aim of this training is to strengthen teachers’ ability to teach students the cognitive, emotional, and social skills needed for building and maintaining healthy relationships, which contribute to creating and sustaining a peaceful school climate. Through role-playing and peer-to-peer sharing, professionals reflect on their own pedagogical approaches.
Beyond their own training, experiencing the activities of our Communication and Cooperation College Kit allows the teachers to better understand the impact of our tools on students and to familiarize themselves with the method so that they can implement the program in its entirety starting next year.

Camille Bethoux, an ICF-certified career coach and expert in psychosocial skills, chose our tools for the empathic listening training she has been organizing for the past 2 years for secondary school teachers and student ambassadors of the pHARe program (anti-bullying at school) at LFIAM in Rabat.

“Halfway through the program, the initial feedback has been very encouraging!

Some teachers have already incorporated activities inspired by the first sessions into their classroom routines. The richness of the discussions and the participants’ commitment mean that these reflections are grounded in real-life situations they faced in their daily professional lives. This paves the way for lasting changes in attitudes and practices, and for the effective transfer of psychosocial skills to their students.

In upcoming sessions, we will dedicate time to co-cretae impact indicators to assess the evolution in attitudes and teaching methods over time. “

Our Eco-Delegues Program has been running since March 2024 at the Lycée Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in Santiago, as part of the AEFE (Agency for French Education abroad), which coordinates the network of French educational establishments abroad under the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The first experimental phase, intended for secondary school students, took place last year.  It was very well received and has been renewed for the school year 2025.

This first experiment in Canada, rare enough to be highlighted, did not take place in a school setting. Instead, it was helded outside school hours, in collaboration with an outstanding community organization: “Go Jeunesse“.
Based in a sensitive neighborhood of Montreal, this organization welcomes children aged 6 to 17 every evening after school offering assistance with their homework and providing access to various activities including sports, video and workshops.
These evening classes are also an opportunity to raise awareness of citizenship among young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
This is where Le Projet Imagine comes in! The ludo-pedagogical approach of our programs is well-suited and effective for this audience.
For the second year in a row, we’ve created a special program tailored specifically for them. While the 6 to 12 year-olds work on the Empathic Communication module, focusing on both listening (being attentive to others and learning to understand their experiences) and speaking (expressing what they’ve learned), the older children explore the sensitive topic of Identity and Difference.
The feedback speaks for itself. For instance, the teens particularly appreciated working on activities related to group belonging – how to introduce themselves, find their place, connect with others, demonstrate solidarity…
